Ich liebe sie einfach diese kleinen Zugvögel Steinwälzer und die noch etwas kleinere Sanderling. Schaut, wenn Flut kommt, sie nur ein kleines Stückchen haben um zu landen auf so einer Buhne
die ins Wasser rausragt wenn Ebbe ist. Jetzt bei der aufkommende Flut bleibt der Platz nicht mehr lange übrig und sie fliegen wo anders hin. Der Sturm fegt in ihren Federkleider, ich bin immer wieder erstaunt dass sie nicht weggefegt werden. Ich habe Mühe dagegen zu stemmen aber sie halten es aus, bleiben Standfest!
I just love these little migratory birds, the turnstone and the even smaller sanderling. Look, when the tide comes in, they only have a small space to land on a groyne that juts out into the water when the tide is out. Now, with the tide coming in, there isn't much room left and they fly somewhere else. The storm sweeps through their plumage, I'm always amazed that they aren't swept away. I have trouble braving it, but they endure it, they remain steadfast!
Vorbei, das Wasser hat gewonnen und ich gehe zufrieden nach Hause!
